Author_Bio: Alan McCune is an unusual author who has lived more lives than most. His creative mind started with the understanding and life lessons of pain, death, abandonment and loneliness. Alan spent his childhood in an abusive environment, and he spent all his free time in the woods imagining different worlds and environments to escape his reality.
Being in special education and living with many internal insecurities and fear did take a toll on his life, including several failed attempts at suicide. Alan finally realized there had to be more. By using his imagination and a higher power, he found the strength to move on. After completing 10th grade at the age of 15, Alan began to live on his own and began his journey.
To add to the already compelling beginning of his life, learning he was gay started a new chapter that he initially thought was a curse, but ended up being his salvation. Leaving Texas behind, he used his creative mind, endless ambition, and unwavering conviction to take on the world. He found himself a place in a world that included fashion events, beauty, and everything he imagined when he was living his unbearable life.
Now, Alan is the president and creative director of Skinny Executives, which is a company that creates beautiful lives, and gives confidence to over the top clients. Alan also prides himself on being a certified life coach, using his life lessons and teachings to help anyone he can.
A lot of people look at Alan and think this first book is about fashion, or events, or something just as frivolous. But it's actually a sci-fi story that involves pain, death, abandonment, and loss. This story is about someone who you think would never survive. You would think this story is about someone becoming a hero, but it could be a story of the person you never want to become.
